Processing
Depending on your data, your subscription or your specific requests we have added specific tools to your processing toolbox. The tools you might find there include the ones described here.
Remember that you can have only one processing task running from your viewer. You will have to wait until it is finished before you can start a new one. If necessary, you can always kill a processing task by using the buttons on the progress indicator window.
Aggregation
The aggregation tool aggregates deformation data onto a layer of your choice and provides you with aggregated deformation statistics on each of the features in that layer.
The tool takes as input:
- a layer with deformation data.
- You will find such a layer in the
section of your viewer
- You will find such a layer in the
- a layer containing points, lines or polygons (features) to aggregate the data on.
- You will find such a layer in the
section of your viewer. - Alternatively, you can upload local data from your computer or draw features on the map directly by using the Data creation toolbox (
)
- You will find such a layer in the
- a buffer distance.
- When your aggregation layer contains point or lines as opposed to polygons it is mandatory to specify a buffer distance
- When your aggregation layer contains polygons a buffer distance is optional
- a name for the result.
- You will find your result as a layer in the
section of your viewer.
- You will find your result as a layer in the
The result is a layer containing polygons where for each polygon average deformation is calculated from all deformation points falling in that polygon.
Besides the average you will also find some other statistics like percentiles. You can look at all statistics for a polygon with the Inspector tool (
).
